Nomadically wandering, in this dark evil town,
in impenetrable darkness, my soul starts to drown.

It sucks at the soul, and the will to live, it pulls tears from my eyes, running like a sieve.

I've been abandoned here, and left to die, I meander through this place, trying to understand why.

A dark and foreboding saloon, draws me to its doors,
To drink tainted brew, and dance with hells whores.

This ancient potion, that drains the will to live.
Convicts me of sins, no God can forgive.

The piano plays a funeral dirge of despair,
I look across the bar, and there is nobody there.
The ivory keys play vigorously, under invisible hands.
Misty forms arise, and like flames they dance.

They circle me with enchantment, horrifying, yet I'm drawn in.
Apparitional entrapment, I'm bonded by sin.

Tales of the hangman, from voices unseen.
Am I alive, or dead, or somewhere in between?
